This suburban restaurant wanted to refresh their branding identity. I updated their logo and style guidelines, and designed packaging for bottled dressing.
This 2-day email campaign was created by me with input from the Marketing team and sent out to Restaurant.com’s 4 million subscribers. This campaign called for animation, still image, and website banners for each day.
A few campaigns that I created for Restaurant.com. Usually stemming from a seasonal theme or dining-related pun, these emails were designed to boost sales and reach targeted audiences. These emails were carefully revised and edited under the marketing team, and sent to over 8 million subscribers.
A sample of the motion graphics I made while at Restaurant.com. I designed these in Photoshop with the goal of creating simple, eye-catching moving images with minimal frames.
A few invitations I have designed over the years. Each invite was designed to each client’s specifications. These invitations include hand drawn and digital illustrations, hand cut confetti, and each is made with love.
I worked on this project during my internship at Random House Children’s Books. I had to create a few images to use on social media, using illustrated elements pulled from the book. These posts were published to Random House’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
The main challenge of this project was to design a legible layout to list many links and login information. I had fun using color to break up the large amount of copy. This brochure was created during my time working for WSIU and was distributed to teachers and parents all across Illinois.
A WSIU program similar to PBS’s Austin City Limits requested a logo with a youthful, welcoming feel. The program showcases local favorites including bluegrass, country, and American roots musicians from Southern Illinois.
Using hand lettering and a whisk-flower illustration, I created a dream-bakery, Batter Baked Goods. I wanted the identity to be country-chic and welcoming to reinforce a "homemade, from-scratch" atmosphere
We Hope You Have Fun is a comedy show at Upright Citizens Brigade in New York. The client wanted a youthful— but not childish! — brand identity for their show that communicated the high energy of the host. I then created double-sided postcards used to advertise the show.
Quarter Life Crisis is a board game I created in parody of the Game of Life. The board is full of realistic situations that a typical twenty-something would face as they struggle to make it in the "real world". The game is full of embarrassing moments inspired by true stories and karma cards waiting to screw you over. I promise you will not make it to the end of the game, your 30th birthday, without laughing. See www.facebook.com/quarterlifecrisisgame for more information
The WSIU & SIRIS Classic Vinyl & Media Sale is an annual fundraiser for SIRIS, the Southern Illinois Radio Information Service, a service for individuals who are blind or unable to read due to their physical conditions. Annually SIRIS & WSIU collect all sorts of electronics and host the sale in a pop-up store. I collaborated with my coworkers at WSIU to create the identity for the 2015 sale. We then created posters, flyers, digital invitations, way finding and in-store organizational signage for the big day.
These are a collection of doodles, drawings, and personal projects that I have made in the past few months using Procreate. The intention was to learn the functions and possibilities of Procreate and the Apple Pencil, but it quickly turned into a fun way to flex my creative muscles.
